BREAKING: The Supreme Council for Shari’ah has called for the immediate removal of INEC Chairman Prof. Amupitan and vowed not to recognise any election conducted under his leadership.
According to its President, Prof. Sheikh Bashir Aliyu, the Council insists that an umpire whose integrity is already under a cloud cannot deliver a credible process. Once a major national body openly rejects elections in advance, public trust is already damaged.
Sheikh Bashir also said that the INEC boss removal has become necessary amid growing allegations of corruption and serious concerns surrounding the credibility of the voters’ register, including claims of figures being manipulated. Nigerians deserve an electoral umpire whose integrity, neutrality and transparency are beyond question.
Nigeria cannot afford an INEC leadership that sections of the country have declared they will not accept. The credibility of 2027 begins with an umpire the people can trust. That trust is now being withdrawn.

BREAKING: SOMALI STRONG! 9 Somali Americans won their elections last night despite the vile racist smear campaign that Trump has been waging against their entire ethnicity.
Victory is the best revenge...
Trump called Somalis "garbage." His relentless attacks against their communities were the most consistent racist barb in his arsenal this election cycle. He was convinced that throwing hateful red meat to his base would carry the day for MAGA.
“I don’t want them in our country," he said.
“They contribute nothing," he said.
“Ilhan Omar is garbage. She’s garbage. Her friends are garbage," he said.
“Let them go back to where they came from and fix it," he said.
He called Somalia “barely a country” and said Somalis come from “hell.” He said, “Their country stinks”.
But last night, the American people stood up and showed him exactly what they think of Somalis. We support them, value them, and we think they belong in government!
Rep. Ilhan Omar won reelection.
Omar Fateh and Zaynab Mohamed won Minnesota State Senate seats in Minneapolis.
Samakab Hussein won a Minnesota State House seat in St. Paul’s East Side.
Mohamud Noor and Anquam Mahamoud won Minnesota State House house seats in Minneaplois.
Abdi Daisane flipped a Minnesota State House seat in the the St. Cloud area.
Ismail Mohamed and Munira Yasin Abdullahi won Ohio House seats in Columbus.
Trump tried to make them a punchline. Instead, they made history. The MAGA era is over. We are sick and tired of letting these demented fascists divide us along racial and religious lines. America is vibrant, multiracial democracy and if Republicans don't like it, they can get out!
Please ❤️ and share to congratulate these winners! #defyhatenow
Abdul El-Sayed was five years old when he asked his grandfather Jan Johnson a question.
“Grandpa, how are you my grandpa?”
His grandparents-Jan and Judy had helped raise Abdul in Michigan, and until then Abdul had never had much reason to think about how they were related. But he had begun to notice that he looked nothing like either of them.
Abdul was 3 when his parents divorced. His father, Mohamed, later married Jackie Johnson, who helped raise him. Abdul called her Mom. So when he asked Jan how he could be his grandpa, Jan gave him a simple answer. Jackie was Jan’s daughter, and Jackie was Abdul’s mom. Then Jan added, “And because I love you.”
When Abdul was older, he spent summers with his father’s family in Alexandria, Egypt. His grandmother there was Soad. She cooked over a small burner with one pot, and Abdul loved to listen to her tell stories. At the end of the summer, he would go back to Michigan, to a cottage on a lake that had been in Jackie’s family for generations. He remembers trying to explain Soad to Grandma Judy. Even now, he says, it is hard to imagine either of his grandmothers knowing what to make of the other’s life.
Soad never got to go to school. She had eight children, and two of them died before their first birthdays. When Abdul talked about her as an adult, he still counted those two babies as the aunt and uncle he would have had. Soad used to remind him that he and his cousins in Egypt were no different from one another. He had simply been given chances they had not . As such, she expected him to do something with those opportunities.
Abdul thought about Soad years later when he began looking at how long people lived. By his reckoning, there was a gap of about ten years in life expectancy between the part of Michigan where he grew up and Egypt. But what bothered him was that he could find a gap about as large much closer to home. He could get on the freeway in suburban Oakland County, drive south into Detroit and see it in less than half an hour.
After medical school, Abdul took on the job of rebuilding Detroit’s health department.
Isitoshe,
When Abdul ran for the U.S. Senate, Jan and Judy sat together in front of a camera. They told Michigan voters that they had helped raise him. Jan talked about how Abdul had helped children get eyeglasses through his work in public health. Then he mentioned something from their own life that had never been on the news. Their grandson still bought their groceries every week.
On Tuesday, Michigan elected Abdul El-Sayed to the United States Senate. When he takes office, he will be the first Muslim ever to serve in the chamber.
May the day break

This is Pauline Lumumba, the woman who watched them kill her husband and then walked half-naked in protest. You may not have seen the photo, but it shows a Congolese woman, bare-chested, with her hair shaved, walking in the street crying, with a child tied on her back. That woman is Pauline Opangu Lumumba, the wife of Patrice Lumumba, in 1961.
Patrice was only 35 years old and had been Prime Minister of Congo for just 67 days. His crime was that he declared, "Congo is not Belgium's property. Our gold, our copper, and our diamonds will feed our children." Because of those words, Belgium, America, and his own army chief, Mobutu, decided that he must die. On January 17, 1961, they took Patrice, together with Maurice Mpolo and Joseph Okito, to Katanga.
Pauline recounts what happened to him in harrowing detail. She said they beat him for hours, pulled out his teeth, and forced him to eat his own speech papers. Then a Belgian officer, Gerard Soete, shot him. After that, they cut his body into pieces with a saw and poured acid over it to dissolve him, so that no grave would ever exist. There was no body, no grave, only acid.
When they told Pauline, she did not scream. In Congolese tradition, she shaved her hair to mourn her husband. She removed her top to show the world, "You have stripped me of my husband. I have nothing left." Then she walked barefoot from Leopoldville to the place where they killed him, a journey of 1,000 km, with her baby on her back, singing his name all the way.
Mobutu, who took part in killing her husband, went on to become President for 32 years with US support. Belgium kept Lumumba's gold tooth as a souvenir in a police station until 2020. Patrice Lumumba died because he wanted a united Africa, like Gaddafi. Pauline died in 2014, still waiting for his body to be buried, and she never remarried. That is the price of saying, "Africa for Africans." And you still think Africa's poverty is because we are lazy?

Today, I visited Ile-Epo in Alimosho, Lagos State, to brief our people on the Obi-Kwankwaso ticket.
In my remarks, I urged them to remain steadfast and to serve as voters, mobilisers, agents, and defenders of the OK and NDC mandate, whether in their home states or here in Lagos.
In my company was the Lagos NDC Gubernatorial Candidate, Mr Funso Doherty, and I thank everyone sincerely for their warm support and reception. - RMK

I didn’t know the Hausa-Fulani community in Lagos State are plenty like this. The NDC must defend every vote in Alimosho, Surulele, Ikeja, & across the mainland. The Island are mostly Obidients. This is massive, the 2027 election is shaping up to be a show down. WOW! 👏👏

BREAKING: SWEET KARMA! Democrat Scott Colom, who is about to win the Mississippi Senate seat, only ran after his MAGA opponent stopped him from obtaining a lifetime federal judge position!
This is one of the most glorious backfires in American history...
Back in November of 2022, President Biden nominated Colom to the federal district court in northern Mississippi. He received support from the state's senior senator, Republican Roger Wicker.
But Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith, who Colom is now leading by 1,764 in the vote count from Tuesday, refused to support the nomination. In fact, she blocked the Senate from even considering him by withholding her blue slip, an old Senate custom that lets one home-state senator veto a judge.
She defended her indefensible move by insisting that he couldn't be trusted with such power because of past support for transgender rights. In reality, she was just pandering to the racist MAGA base by blocking a Black Democrat.
But if she hadn't blocked him, Colom would be a judge right now. Instead, he's poised to take Hyde-Smith's seat, flipping a seat that a Democrat hasn't been able to win since 1972 in a state that handed Trump 61% of its vote in 2024.
While the race has not yet been called, if Colom maintains this lead, as he seems likely to do, the seat is his.
Please ❤️ and share if you can't wait to see Colom in the Senate!

I wrote on the AI- infested Voters Register scandal of @inecnigeria
A DOCTRINE OF NECESSITY OPEN MEMO:
Hands-Off Now, INEC….. Only
a Citizens’ Electoral Rescue Team Can Restore Credibility to 2027 Elections.
“The Office of the Citizen is the highest Office in the Land. The people paid to all other offices, including that of the President, Senators, Representatives,
Governors and public appointees like the Chairman of INEC, derive their authority and legitimacy. The register of voters does not belong to INEC nor the Federal Government.”.

✍🏾✍🏾✍🏾nor the ruling party- APC. It belongs to us the Citizens of Nigeria. Period. INEC merely
holds it in trust. That trust, by its own admission, has been totally broken with the AI
infiltration of the Voters register.
