Everybody wanted touch for so long and then when they bring touch people are yelling "take it back!! We don't want it!!". Fine. You don't have to buy it. Apple bots are worse than gamer bots.
All of this PLUS most of our economic growth is tied to this circular AI spending AND interest rates are rising in part because of the HUGE demand for lending from AI data infrastructure build-out. This could get bad.
🚨 US LAWMAKERS ARE NOW PREPARING FOR THE AI BUBBLE TO BURST.
House Democrats have introduced a resolution opposing government bailouts for AI companies if the industry crashes.
Instead of rescuing them with taxpayer money, lawmakers want failed AI companies to go through normal bankruptcy.
And the timing is extremely concerning.
Some of the world's biggest tech companies are investing billions into AI startups that spend heavily on their products.
• Nvidia invests in CoreWeave, which buys Nvidia chips.
• Microsoft invests in OpenAI, which spends billions on Microsoft's cloud services.
• Amazon invests in Anthropic, which uses Amazon's cloud infrastructure.
Billions are moving between companies that are becoming increasingly dependent on each other's spending.
And lawmakers are raising concerns about the growing use of borrowed money by Big Tech and Wall Street to finance the AI boom.
The resolution is not law, but it shows that some lawmakers are already worried about what happens if the industry collapses.
If AI startups run out of funding, they could be forced to slash spending or declare bankruptcy, leaving their investors and suppliers facing massive losses.
And without government bailouts, a major failure could spread across chipmakers, cloud providers, banks and the broader stock market.
The biggest risk is that one major AI bankruptcy could trigger losses across an entire industry worth trillions.
Still working my way through Trails Ch 2. I love this game so much! Backlog is growing tho. Fortune’s Weave, Resonance and OoT. Games on cart sell out sometimes so I pick them up on launch so I don’t miss out. But it will take me a year to get through this…

There's no reason ever to buy a GKC. Either buy the full game on cart or buy the game digitally. A digital purchase allows you to remotely share the game with anyone, anywhere as a virtual GKC. A physical GKC is less flexible. It may allow a resale... but that's just a rip off.
This is why the open weight models will win in the end. Don’t trust your LLM or data to a proprietary provider. They want lock in and control before driving their rates up.

I’m up to a point in chapter three of Trails 2C that connects the ending to this game and I had to pause and catch my breath before I continue.
I’m still playing Trails Chapter 2 with FE: Fortune’s Weave waiting and now Final Fantasy Resonance also in the backlog as Ocarina of Time is circling like a shark in the perimeter. Good times for gamers!

Hey @SquareEnix why is there no upgrade path or save compatibility between #FinalFantasyResonance Switch and Switch 2? I cancelled my order today when I saw this. Farming gamers is bad news for game developers.

Game development today relies on processing power over optmization. Optimization requires people hours (which are expensive) while the cost of processing power is pushed to the gamer.
Tbh Nintendo is just as bad as Sony (and probably worse). There’s a tacit understanding between gamers and proprietary hardware. Be fair, offer value and we good. Break it and the pirates go crazy. Always been this way.
First… need the jailbreak to work on v14 so I can do this. But while everyone is shocked / angry this is why proprietary hardware sucks and open systems like PC / Linux are so much better. This isn’t just Sony. It’s all of them (including Apple).
