Knuth v1.4.0 is Out
Bitcoin Cash Node – Stronger Chain Reorganizations, Synchronization & Storage Foundation
This release focuses on making the node more robust during chain reorganizations, improving synchronization reliability, and solidifying the UTXO-Z storage layer.
🚀 Knuth v1.4.0 is out.
This release strengthens chain reorganizations, synchronization, and the storage foundation behind the node.
Highlights:
🔄 Chain reorganizations: undo records, block disconnection, and switching to a higher-work branch, backed by end-to-end tests covering restarts and failure paths.
🗂️ UTXO-Z 1.0.0: geometry 4, with the 48-byte storage class split across eight shards.
🛡️ Validation and persistence: full validation after the IBD checkpoint, BIP30 duplicate-coinbase handling, and stronger consistency between headers, blocks, and the UTXO set.
🌐 More reliable synchronization: improved peer fallback, block-announcement handling, and progress when the chain tip advances.
🔌 Orderly RPC shutdown. Full UTXO compaction is now explicit offline maintenance instead of part of every shutdown.
⚠️ Storage compatibility: databases using the older UTXO-Z 0.x format require rebuilding with a fresh IBD.

Panduan Eksklusif: Rekayasa Lingkungan Sensorik Berbasis Circadian Rhythm untuk Mengatasi Tangisan Impulsif Bayi klinikbidannova.com/panduan-…
It is time to stop being commodified by greedy platforms. When basic features, reach, and free interaction are hidden behind monthly subscription paywalls, we are no longer users—we are just profit sources.
The technology is indeed powerful, but the culture surrounding it is in serious disarray. Many people are more focused on “making it look like they’re using AI” than on actually adding value.
Voluntary support is freedom.
Paying because you want to support is very different from being required to pay just to keep access.
Support is a choice. Payment as a requirement is a rule.
Decentralization means freedom.
Not just distributed servers.
Not just technology.
If users are increasingly restricted, pushed to pay, and locked out of essential features, then we have to ask:
Is it really decentralized—or just centralized with a different name?
Sometimes the best solution is the one that makes everything feel… obvious. 😏
No complicated steps. No unnecessary friction. Just a better way to get things done.
And once you see it, you can’t unsee it. 👀
