Ireland’s health service depends heavily on international doctors & nurses.
The proposed increase in the residence requirement for citizenship from 5 to 8 yrs ll make many reconsider whether Ireland is a place they can build their future.

Deeply disturbed by the assault & racial abuse of a Pakistani doctor outside A&E in Limerick!
In recent weeks, I’ve been contacted by more than four doctors who have faced racial attacks. Disturbingly, organised hate campaigns are being run on social media by certain groups.
No healthcare worker should ever face violence or discrimination.
We stand in solidarity with our colleagues — zero tolerance for racism toward healthcare professionals.
