Two poems by @LisaDMKelly badlilies.uk/lisa-kelly-3
A Vagina is not a Crab, Mr Tumble "scuttling quickly sideways" as your index fingers and thumbs form an open upside-down triangle crabbing left to right across the screen as you pinch-release, pinch-release. No, a vagina is not a crab, Mr Tumble. Don't trip on the carapace over a precipice. Do you see what I'm signing Mr Tumble?

The 2027 Writers’ & Artists’ Yearbook is out! They have reprinted my essay, ‘Perseverance in Getting Poetry Published’. It’s surreal – I spent decades scouring this bible for tips & insights before I published. Happy 120th anniversary @Writers_Artists writersandartists.co.uk/

I took the train from Kings Cross to Leeds then Leeds to Bradford Interchange for Bradford Literature Festival. On the platform as I arrived in Bradford a man in train uniform stops me "excuse me are you Lemn Sissay". A lovely conversation ensues. We shake hands and as he's about to leave I say "you work here?" and he says " I was your train driver". He walks to the other end of the train to drive it back to Leeds. For a train driver to shake my hand and know my name is the most wonderful way to arrive in a city. I am blessed and ever thankful. His name is Andy. His wife's name is Lucy. And they had a baby. @BradfordLitFest
