Imagine if, rather than having a public school system, we told parents it was up to them to secure and finance K12 education on their own. And that if they couldn’t afford it then maybe they just shouldn’t have had a child. For many this is our current reality from birth-five.

Just stopped by Augustana church in Portland where @MomsDemand volunteers and advocates are getting out the vote for ballot #measure114 - they’ve made nearly 300,000 calls to voters in the last 2 days. The measure would reduce magazine capacity and increase training requirements.
