I’ve already told you about Christine Hanlon at the NJGOP and her failures, now let’s talk about her friend Laura Ali running Morris County.
Ali had the authority to appoint poll challengers in every district and she didn’t bother.
In an environment where New Jersey already has serious questions about mail-in ballots, noncitizen registrations, and process failures, the county chair’s job is the absolute basics: get eyes in the room and document what’s happening.
Instead Morris County lost its first commissioner seat to a Democrat since 1973 and both House seats that cover the county.
If leadership won’t even deploy challengers when the stakes are this clear, what exactly are they managing?

Rutgers wants permission to harass whales and dolphins so researchers can study how offshore wind surveys, construction, and operations have harassed and even killed them in the past and could harass and kill (“take”) cetaceans in the future.
Apparently, the best way to study the impacts of harassing whales is to get permission to harass them some more. You really can't make this stuff up.
Rutgers University wants a five-year federal permit to approach, photograph, video, and even dart-tag whales in and around planned offshore wind construction sites off New Jersey. Up to 85 humpback and endangered fin whales could be subjected to these research activities annually, while other species, including endangered North Atlantic right whales, could be unintentionally harassed.
Apparently, the solution to understanding how offshore wind industrialization affects whales is to get government permission to bother them some more. All in the name of “science,” of course.
We will be closely following this matter and will continue to provide updates, as well as actions POCNJ and our followers can take.

A young humpback whale was feeding off Avalon, New Jersey yesterday, just 300 yards from shore.
These majestic marine mammals go where the bunker go, which put them in harm’s way when industrial construction is underway.
We are incredibly grateful to people like Congressman Jeff Van Drew who took a stand against building colossal energy facilities in fragile marine habitat.
And we look forward to seeing that Congressman elect Zack Mullock keeps his pledge to oppose the devastating offshore wind scam.

"An arrest warrant was issued, and Stephen Redic was arrested just before 8 a.m. Wednesday.
Redic is charged with misdemeanor simple assault and violation-level disorderly conduct."

The last thing she texted her Dad was
“Ow ow ow”
This girl Rachel Apa played Bucknell field hockey also. She was running her first NYC Marathon to honor her grandfather who died of Parkinson's.
The mom had already filmed her smiling at mile 14 in Queens… then went all the way to Central Park to film her finishing and instead arrived to see her being loaded into an ambulance.
She died later of rhabdomyolysis.
