Acts of kindness that feel small to us have a big impact on others.
Research: kids and adults underestimate how tiny acts of generosity lift others' moods.
There's no easier way to make someone's day than to offer a compliment, give a little gift, or send a handwritten note.

I was lucky enough to be at a school on the 1st day of the salad bar opening! Heaps of lettuce/veggies! The lettuce to veggie to ranch ratio was considered by all...kids crafted their own and loved it! @LASchoolsNorth

In kindergarten today… one of my students sat at her desk during the image talk (all others students sat on the rug) from #buildfactfluency @stenhousepub I let her have her space, she said she was writing it all down so she can show her 3 year old sister. K rules!

ALT At TODOS, we recognize that all humans belong and are worthy of respect. To classify any humans as “illegal immigrants” upon appearance is racist, dehumanizing, and wrong. As an organization we continue to pledge to dismantle systems and structures that maintain racism, both in our larger communities and within teaching and learning mathematics, through challenging belief systems that perpetuate microaggressions. We invite you to join us to do the same.
