Ireland sends a message of hope. #IsraelPalestineConflict
Huge respect to Patrick Kielty for these important closing words on @RTELateLateShow
FYI Patrick’s own father John "Jack" Kielty was shot dead in 1988 by a group calling themselves the Ulster Freedom Fighters (UFF) during the Troubles in N. Ireland.
If anyone is qualified to talk about hope it’s @PatricKielty and the people of Ireland, where the mothers played a huge role in achieving “the miracle” of peace.

I screamed with delight after Baraye, the anthem of the Iranian uprising won the Grammy in the Best Song for Social Change category. Shervin Hajipour’s Baraye, is about the grievances of Iranians who long for a normal life. This is the soundtrack of revolution.

Dear world. Today, the bloodthirsty Islamist regime in Iran has executed 2 more innocent protesters:
#MohammadMehdiKarami
#MohammadHosseini
These innocent idealistic young men put their lives in danger for democracy in Iran. We are mourning as a nation. Help us save others

#MehdiMohammadifard is only 18 years old. This young boy from the city of #Sari has been sentenced to execution TWICE on charges of “war against God”. All Mehdi did was to protest. His life is in immediate danger. Tomorrow can be very late. Help us save his life.

USA’s Antonee Robinson consoles Iran’s Ramin Rezaian after America’s victory. Iran’s regime has tried hard to brainwash its people against the US, but most Americans who’ve been to Iran will tell you it’s among the friendliest places they’ve ever visited.
Fyi, if you are a cyclist hit by a @DPDgroup_news driver in the UK, you have no way of contacting DPD to complain unless you have a package tracking number.
Hi @DPDgroup_news how can I make a complaint about a DPD driver who crashed into me yesterday while on his phone? All contact forms on website require an order number.
@DPDgroup_news one of your drivers crashed into me this morning. A road was closed and he was reversing; not only was he on his phone but he said he didn’t see me because he doesn’t have a camera. How is this acceptable? Also, how can we file a complaint without tracking number?

These are glorious: I’ll take these over killer clowns and zombie Donald Trump any day.
Mundane Halloween is back!
Japan does Halloween better than anyone, but best of all is the annual "mundane Halloween" contest sponsored by website @dailyportalz.
The point is to dress up as something super ordinary.
Here are some of my favorites from this year...

Same goes in the UK; BorrowBox is also a great app for digital borrowing. It’s made me read so much more.
Changing Rooms was in full Adam and Joe parody mode tonight. The neighbours are correct: they won’t talk to you… #changingrooms
Am I imagining this or was there a bit in In Bed With Madonna where her hairdresser talks about how her drink was spiked the night before and everyone completely ignores her?
