Honored to meet @lbfirstlady Nehmat Aoun & @nclwgov. Women are often disproportionately affected by conflict, yet are at the heart of recovery& hope. Our conversation reinforced: when women actively participate, families & communities are stronger. UNHCR is proud to support this.

We take "home" for granted.
The bed we sleep in.
The kitchen table we gather around.
Our children waiting for us when we walk through the door.
Our memories hanging on our walls.
Yet, for more than 1.2 million people in Lebanon, these are no longer things to take for granted.
Because when 1 in 5 people are forced out of place, nothing stays in place.
THE DISPLACED EDITION. Created to make displacement impossible to ignore.
