I l❤️ that this books not only explains the meaning of a rebellious reader, and the importance of 📚 and conversations with ST. This book also has already made lessons and book ideas to teach about different topics. #BookTwitter #teachers #Diversity

I constantly look to fantasy art for inspiration. Found this years ago, and it’s one of the reasons I chose illusions for Amari’s magic. Also, its creator @godwinakpan234 became the US cover artist! Hire him for all the things! – at Lexington, SC

Who loves puppies? My daughter (third grader) has been loving reading W. Bruce Cameron’s books Lily to the Rescue. Which got me thinking that everyone would love to see all the books about man’s best friend. What are your favorites books about man’s best friend? Comment below!

April is national poetry month! I wanted to share some novel written in verse. I teach a poetry unit and when I tell my Ss that there are books that are written in verse and it’s a form of poetry their minds are blown. Let novels in verse spark a love of reading!

2020 has been the year of obstacles. This week I’m going to be talking with my Ss about what obstacles have gotten in the way of them having the time to read It’s just been hard to pick up a book and read It’s okay to share times when reading hasn’t been the best with your Ss
