It's weird being a parent. Here's a comic about it -except everyone is animals, because I hate drawing people. Married to @GhostHause

Litterbox Comics

Being a parent is weird. Since 2018, Chesca has been capturing this chaos in Litterbox Comics, but things are about to get a lot weirder because we're adapting the comic into an animated show!🙀

I stopped drawing for quite a while after having my first son. Came back to it and I was rusty as heck! Thought I must have peeked, but then I did an Inktober, drawing traditionally every day, and it was like sonething inside me unlocked! By the end of the month I was drawing better than I ever had before! I think as long as you keep looking at and appreciating good art, it gets absorbed into your style, even if you're not actively drawing. The only way to bring it out though, is by drawing again and pushing past the agonizing rusty stage.

o que acontece se um artista ficar 1 ano inteiro sem desenhar? ele vai conseguir desenhar de novo igual antes da pausa, ou ele perderia toda as habilidades? 🤔

Biggest takeaway from all this; It's never too late! This happened when I was 35 and I've been continuing to grow my art in the decade since! You never know how good you could get at something if you just put you mind to it! 🤩

I built an evil version of Jimothy in my brother’s front yard. The neighbors are complaining that it’s too big but I think I could have gone bigger
