I accidentally found this game ~151 days ago. I was randomly looking for digital aquariums (I'm a nerd OK ) and this game stuck out to me so fast. Here's my current aquarium with some of my friends I've drawn as fish! π The demo is amazing can't wait for the full release.

And *all* you want to do is be able to talk, but there are no words coming out and it's a feeling of no feelings. π I tend to rock my body and bite my lips/cheeks on a loop when I'm stuck in this state. I wasn't diagnosed with autism until I was 33.
ALT what autistic shutdown actually is: autistic shutdown happens when the nervous system has been overwhelmed for too long, and cannot keep going. instead of exploding outward, the body shuts down into a low-energy, protective state. a person in shutdown may: stop speaking. withdraw socially. feel frosen or numb. struggle to think or respond. THIS IS NOT A CHOICE. it's not manipulation. it's not "checking out." is the body trying to survive.
