RIP Sinéad O’Connor. When dealing with a music industry and popular culture that encourages artists to stay silent and be apolitical, we should all take a moment to think, “What would Sinéad do?” whenever we’re confronted with injustice.
“My people are conjurers. They dream things up, make something where there was nothing, something the world needs. They don’t stop at dreaming, they make magic in the real world…Be tenacious on behalf of life on earth. You were made for this moment.” — @ayanaeliza

So honoured to have contributed a song to this beautiful benefit album. I wrote it last summer when my mom was diagnosed with terminal cancer. The song features the voices of a hermit thrush and my amazing partner @LittleScream

The only rational response to the terrifying news about climate breakdown this week is to act as if it’s not too late: as if we have the briefest of opportunities to stabilise the system before it slides.

Devastated by the sudden loss of Dallas Good. World class gentleman, guitar god, and deep appreciator of Red Rose tea, he will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him🌹Rock on in peace, dear friend. #dallasgood @TheSadies
I always love singing with @m_feuerstack, he somehow always brings out the best of my ‘sad voice’. You can soak up some of that sweet heartbreak here on his new collection of covers 🕊
