Days after our 2019 wedding, I was laid off. My hubby (@FrankenSpear) saw it as a sign to FINALLY start our shared #horror dream. He held down a thankless job to keep us fed while I got to work on our site! 4/27 wedding,5/1 lay off, 5/2 domain bought, 10/1 HorrorFam.com
Happy 7th birthday to HorrorFam.com! We birthed our site to the world on October 1, 2019 🥰 THANK YOU to everyone who has written articles, read them, and shared them over the years. We love you! Looking forward to the next...FOREVER! New updates every Friday! 🥳
I'm so grateful to everyone who has helped us take care of our baby the past 7 years - writing, reading, and sharing our articles - and making HorrorFam.com truly the DREAM horror publication we always wanted to own. THANK YOU!!

The photos aren't from the movies, but act as representations of each film. Most folks just click over but some like to look at the CLUES first and try to figure out which one belongs to each team member, guessing our picks. I have fun making these vids!🥰 horrorfam.com/horror-streami…

Hey! @MeoshaBOfficial is raising funds for Season 2 of her audio series CHURCH HURT, about folks who have been hurt by organized religion (not by faith or the Lord but by people who weaponize the Word). If you're interested in helping, here's her GoFundMe: gofundme.com/f/join-meosha-b…

Insane lore drop I HAVE to share: I chose this H3 poster our October #horror streaming picks & Dad (Robert Tharp) casually walked by & said, "That's ME in the witch mask!" Sure enough - his green eyes! 😮 (Dad & Mom painted the masks for Halloween III). horrorfam.com/horror-streami…

Every little purple line is a still photo of Zander that I took on a makeshift "green screen" (comic book backing board that I painted green) and then placed onto a video of me talking. I did a test first with the IRL Zander toy I built so I'd know where to look & hold my hand.
HorrorFam.com's Lauren Spear and Zander are back with another Indie Horror Inbox Roundup! Check out the 35+ #indie #horror submissions for Fall 2025! horrorfam.com/fall-2025-indi… Show the creators some love!! ♥
The animation is a lil wobbly (even though I took 160 photos it wasn't quiiite enough for smoothness lol), but I'm still proud of it! Zander and I hosted the 2024 HorrorFam.com Fall Indie Horror Roundup together and several people said we should do it again this year 🥰
