For context, I’ve been in school for a while now and just haven’t actively played in collegiate much. I’m about a year out from my BS.
Anyone competing in Challengers should 100% combine it with pursuing an education. If given the opportunity.

Good anti-cheat is quiet, consistent, and boring. This version is loud, selective, and attached to two people. I think it’s extremely dangerous for riot to allow whatever the heck is going on publicly.
Pokemon TCG is essentially eliminating the next generation of children from this hobby by allowing this scalping to continue. Something really needs to be done about this. It’s sickening to me that you literally cannot find a single pack at msrp anywhere…
Congrats to Charles and Jonathan for their promotions and Juanita for joining the team. I have confidence in this new leadership. I’ve worked closely with both Jon and Charles whom share a common goal for growing scholastic esports and education. Very excited for PlayVS’s future.
Today, we’re sharing an important update on the future of PlayVS.
PlayVS has been reorganized, fully financed, and is ready to serve our community for the long term under our new leadership team:
• Jonathan Boswell, CEO
• Juanita Russell, CFO
• Charles O’Donnell, CRO
Our focus remains on delivering the experience students and schools deserve.
It’s an organized attack from players with controller company deals. People paying 400$ for a Marius board, battle beaver etc that have the same customizable settings. Prove me wrong..
Curious to see how this pans out, I thought discord didn’t keep people’s personal data like that.
I think leagues should develop rules based around situations like this. Like what do you even do as a TO?
Welcoming the new BMan to the world on 5/8/26. A whopping 8 lbs 10 oz, both he and my wife are perfectly happy and healthy.
