During the tense nighttime confrontation in Warsaw, MEP Grzegorz Braun filmed riot police standing in formation outside the Constitutional Tribunal. Braun pointed to officers whose helmets appeared to lack visible identification numbers or markings, raising doubts about whether everyone in the formation could be properly identified. “IS THIS EVEN THE POLICE, OR A GANG OF IMPOSTORS?!” His allegation was echoed by Polish politician Włodzimierz Skalik, who described attempting to obtain an officer’s identification number. Some helmets and shields in the footage visibly carry police markings, while other identification details are obscured or difficult to distinguish. There is no verified evidence in the footage that the officers are impostors or foreign personnel. SHOULD EVERY OFFICER DEPLOYED AT A CONSTITUTIONAL COURT BE CLEARLY IDENTIFIABLE — ESPECIALLY DURING A DISPUTE OVER THE LEGALITY OF THE OPERATION?
