1/1 So many of you have been asking about the future of #LivePD and I don't want you to think I'm ignoring you. The bottom line is that I continue to advocate strongly for its return (with some behind the scenes protocol changes). While. . .

I think A&E is doing what they said in their initial announcement, determining if there’s a “pathway” forward. I hope so and think with some changes it could be an important part of the national discussion. (In the meantime, I’ll have some other non-livepd show news tomorrow)

Some of my favorite officers, I know their names, precincts, their K9’s names and how they tell jokes and dance with the kids they meet and how they put themselves in harms way. They aren’t all perfect, but a lot of them are exceptional! I’ll miss em’ @danabrams #livepd
Now that 24 hours have passed and we have all had time to process, how is everyone feeling this evening?
The former owner requested a statement be posted on his behalf. Please see below:

One of the most important things we can all do in this time of overdue change is not let coverage of racism fade with the news cycle. My company @abrams_media is donating to @MarshallProj and @NABJ to try to help. I'd encourage you to do the same.

I am going to finally go to sleep but I just want to say one more thing to the #LivePDNation. Thank you for making this so much more than a tv show. You created a huge community of kind, caring people with whom I hope to stay in touch with in this next chapter. More tomorrow. . .

Dan, we will always be grateful to all of you. We featured more than 100 missing children on #LivePD and over half of them were recovered. 💛

The reason Live PD was put together was because the world wanted transparency with LEO & improve the relationship with the community & educate. The show & Departments did that for 4 yrs! But we got shows that show nothing but nonsense.
