What a weekend in Raleigh at the East Coast Showcase Showdown!!! 🥵🥵🥵🥵 Hot doesn't even begin to describe the conditions!!!
However, our ladies showed up and do what they do, going a perfect 5-0 in front of a huge collection of college coaches!!! Thank you to all of the coaches that were out at our games talking to our ladies, giving advice, and just making it through the heat with a smile!!! We appreciate you!
For the weekend these girls were on 🔥 and outscored their opponents 37-5 batting .466 with 18 extra base hits!!! The pitchers were also cooking only allowing 2 earned runs all weekend with an ERA of .737!! Needless to say these ladies balled out and finished the summer strong!!!!

What a day yesterday!!! Due to sickness, emergency family issues, and other unfortunate events Unity Lively was down to 7 of our ladies and 2 young guest players (2029 and 2030) at the USSSA Space Coast World Series in balmy Florida. We were also down to two pitchers whose primary positions are not pitchers.
Despite all of that, our ladies fought and battled for 15 hours yesterday gritting out win after win until they finally ran out of gas in the last game of the night in a consistent rain!
The numbers: 3-1 on the day, 20 innings played, 356 pitches thrown by Lo and Lucy, Woo Woo catching every inning, batting .300 on the day all with only 9 players.
These girls showed toughness, grit, determination, and what it means to be Unity Strong!!! Great job ladies and a special thanks to Avery, Kylie, and Lilly for helping us out this week! Until next time Florida!!! #UnityStrong 🥎💪🧡💜💜 @Cheydebusk11 @L0ganGreenwood
