in court today:
• Claimed he feared for his family.
• Admitted hiring private investigators to locate journalists.
• Admitted deliberately putting pressure on them.
• Hadn't considered the consequences for the journalists.
• Didn't dispute their statements about fearing violence.
Plenty for the prosecution to work with, especially his own admissions, which could seriously undermine his defence.
Wouldn't be the first time he'd been unable to speak because of something jammed in his throat.
