Robin Wang from Living Optics came by to test drive their hyperspectral camera — a fast, not scanning camera capable of getting a full spectrum over more than 5000 zones — on our sodium flame plasma. Really cool! We’re going to reduce the data via peak to peak ratios to get a spacial measurement of temperature, if successful, i’ll be a happy customer ☺️ A spacial temperature measurement will be super useful for us, going from pretty minimal (look what melted) to being able to view it through the whole volume. @kinder_robueno @LivingOptics

The @SalGoTeam @OxfordBiology spent a wonderful time last week at @WythamWoods with @LivingOptics state-of-the-art live hyperspectral camera technologies to assess the health of grasslands and forests. Really impressed with what their technologies can do in situ!
