One core idea we know from game theory is that self-interest doesn’t always produce the best outcome for everyone.
This is why good governance is important.
Treasury companies should not compete on financial reporting.
The optimal solution systemically is to embrace a shared, neutral standard instead.
This solves for the bias companies have of presenting themselves favorably.
The @Strive website is leaps and bounds ahead of @Strategy
A simple and clear message, taking all forms of investors through a concise and informative story.
The MSTR website is a dog's breakfast of information and whilst informative, does not deliver the message that Strive is able to portray via less is more.
Their podcasts are also word class. Bullish both, however Strive has been on a tear the past 12 months.

2021 to 2026 is Bitcoin's worst rolling 5 year stretch to date.
My personal investment horizon is 10 years, so I'm curious what the next 5 years will bring.
Hopefully moon.
Bitcoin was ~50k in late 2021.
5 years later, MSTR accumulated close to 1M BTC and we're still only at ~80k.
When moon?

Whenever I take a step back I just can’t help but struggle with existential questions.
What’s the likelihood of being a conscious / self-aware entity on some random planet at the moment AI appears to be taking off?
It’s a strange feeling to have.

If the metric you judge performance by is Bitcoin per Share, they did do well.
Another common retail misconception is that MetaPlanet did well by increasing bitcoin per share. I have addressed bitcoin per share and bitcoin yield below.
Chanos addressed it last year; most of us ignored him as "just not getting it", and @PunterJeff called him a clown all year while mNAV contracted, and grump old Chanos was actually just right.
Is it?
The reason people buy stuff is to signal/prove to others and even yourself that you "made it".
Once you cross into zillionaire territory, the signal reverses. The more you consume/display, the worse it looks to everyone.
Pretty straightforward.
There’s something almost comical about Elon being worth an absurd amount of money and still choosing to live next to the fucking job site.
He could be anywhere on Earth.
Instead he’s in an Airstream helping build the infrastructure for superintelligence.
Say whatever you want about the guy, but he is completely fucking obsessed with building.
How does this keep happening?
I understand buying and giving up 5-10 years later. I don’t understand why you’d give up after 1.5 years.
We’re only down like 40% from all time highs — least volatile it’s ever been in 17 years.
