MISSION SUCCESS: Following today’s inaugural flight, Hypersonix successfully demonstrated hypersonic capabilities using its DART AE aircraft and SPARTAN scramjet engine.
All flight data is being collected and verified, with the mission delivering a positive result for Hypersonix and contributing towards the development of faster access to space.

Aretha Franklin’s performance at the 2015 Kennedy Center Honors is widely regarded as one of the best moments in the history of the event.
The occasion was to honor Carole King, the legendary songwriter and one of the co-writers of Aretha’s iconic hit “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman.”
Draped in a floor-length fur coat, Aretha took the stage and began with a subtle piano introduction, which immediately drew the audience into her world.
Her powerful voice and commanding presence filled the room, visibly moving everyone in attendance. Carole King, seated in the audience, was overwhelmed with emotion, cheering and holding her hands to her face in disbelief.

I joined @bbc5live this morning to discuss auto bosses meeting with @jreynoldsMP and @louhaigh this week to discuss changes to the ZEV Mandate. As a bright-eyed Austin Rover executive in the early 90s, I remember making representations against the move towards the Euro 1 standard. Industry will always resist what impacts short-term results, but eventually they will adapt and deliver value in the long-term. Compromise is healthy, but I hope the ZEV Mandate remains largely in tact.
