DK, IG and TES all have some fun narratives to root for. Young team, old team, 369 off the couch team.
In the end, relative to pre tournament rankings (which have significantly altered due to LCP W25 v W26 drop off), it didn’t end up too bad. G2 (3), HLE (5), TSW (6) are out and DK (9), KC (10) and IG(15)* are in. IG * due to roster chaos causing 15th over all of 26. CB now 5th/6
The way Isles contextualized what I would call, "the moment", in that post-game was incredible. That is when you find out what you are truly made of. They showed up, and they succeeded. Through the nerves, the more "moments" the less those nerves matter. Experience is huge.
Zest had already earned his way back into the LCK prior to this tournament, but I really think he's going to go home.
LOS were once first in my power rankings, and I thought the stats had failed me. Come to find out, that wasn't an error.
Hot take: I'll always take a tournament format where all teams are treated equally over a format that doesn't, even if that means all the teams are equally at risk of suffering at the hands of chance.

I'd like to say that Swiss seems to look like it will provide a quarters that isn't representative of the top 8 teams in the world, and arguably the worst group of 8 in some time.
HOWEVER, when you lose games you should win, that is kind of how the cookie will crumble.
