34 Organizers. 10 days. From the classroom to the streets of Denver, LIUNA organizers put their skills to work where it matters most: on the ground, talking to workers and organizing for change. BOOT camp was about turning training into action and preparing organizers to lead the fights ahead. This is how we March to One Million. #organize #organizeordie #laborersrising #feelthepower #solidarity
A simple tool. A skilled hand. A quality finish.
The lute helps our Laborers fine-tune asphalt and other paving materials, making precision and experience essential to the finished surface. Quality starts with the details, and our members deliver every day!

Our Laborers demand properly protected trenches, adequate working space, and safe conditions to do their jobs right and return home safely.
Special thanks to Granite Construction for helping demonstrate what planning, preparation, and respect for the workforce look like.

OVSS members took part in LIUNA's Organizer Boot Camp in Denver last week.
The curriculum covered the full range of the work. Salting and bottom-up organizing, top-down campaigns, labor law, and the NLRB election process. Enhanced picketing, health and safety, and how LECET builds partnerships with contractors. Sessions on storytelling, public speaking, and recording direct-to-camera video, with members sharing their own stories in front of the room throughout the week.
Then they put it to use. Our members went out in the field with Local 720 and rallied at Denver City Hall for Best Value Contracting. They also heard from General President Booker, General Secretary-Treasurer Sabitoni, and Vice President and OVSS Regional Manager Steve Farner during a leadership panel.
Thank you to Jen Corboy and Eric Dirnbach, IVP and NW Regional Manager Bob Abbott, and Local 720 for hosting.
