Hiring trick: when you post a job, add a "how to apply" section to the description and explain that they should email you instead of submitting their resume through the job site.
Make it clear that you will ignore all applications that apply through the site.
It's absolutely mindblowing how many people will NOT follow this instruction.
Literally hundreds of applicants who can't follow simple instructions and don't pay attention to details. These are not people you want to hire.
Now I only have to review about 20 applications instead of hundreds.
