the binance hacker just did something genius and it should scare you
tether froze $1.5 billion in stolen USDT. circle froze $800 million in USDC. everyone's celebrating like the problem is solved
meanwhile the hacker deposited the stolen USDT on aave, borrowed ETH against it, and walked away. because USDT can be frozen. ETH can't
he's never paying it back. he doesn't need to
tether and circle just proved they can freeze billions in seconds. and the hacker just proved that if you know how defi actually works, none of that matters
the freeze saved some of the money. but the smartest money was already gone before anyone pressed the button
You can be mad at the system all you want, your problem is you don't know the tax code well enough.
Find someone who does, it will change your life.
My neighbor spent 14 years auditing rich people for the IRS
Asked him the craziest thing he ever saw in an audit
He said "I audited a guy in Dallas who made $1.1M, bought 3 houses, drove a new Escalade, and the IRS had to mail HIM a $7,430 refund check for being low-income"
I thought he was bullshitting me until he walked me through the guy's file
The auditor went into that office expecting to nail him for tax fraud. Six weeks later he had to close the audit with zero changes and release the guy's $7,430 low-income check
You know why? Because the US tax code has two rules that turn into a legal money glitch when you stack them together
First rule is that borrowed money is never taxable income. You can borrow $500k tomorrow morning and the IRS cannot touch a penny of it
Second rule is IRS Revenue Ruling 78-38. It says any business expense, equipment, or heavy vehicle you buy on a credit card is 100% tax-deductible the exact day you swipe the card, even if you don't pay the bank back for 18 months (go look that ruling up btw, it's wild)
His business brought in $420k in net profit, plus he pulled $680k in tax-free cash-out refinances off three rental houses. That's $1.1M in cash hitting his bank account in one year
A normal W-2 earner making $420k bends over and wires $130,000 to Washington
Instead, this guy used his 740 credit score to open $250,000 in 0% APR business credit cards under his LLC's tax ID across Chase, Amex, US Bank, and Wells Fargo
Before December 31st, he swiped all $250,000 of the bank's 0% money on a $95k Escalade (over 6,000 lbs so Section 179 writes off 100% of it on day one), rehab materials for his rentals, and prepaid vendor invoices
Stacked with bonus depreciation on his rentals, those credit card swipes legally dropped his personal Adjusted Gross Income all the way down to $21,400. With three kids on his return, the IRS computer automatically mailed him the $7,430 Earned Income Tax Credit
And because EIN business cards only report to commercial bureaus, none of that $250k balance ever showed up on his personal credit report. He paid the cards off a year later from rental cash flow before Chase charged him a dime of interest
Problem is when most guys with a 700+ score try to apply for $250k in business credit on their own, they apply in the wrong order, rack up 5 hard pulls on Experian, and get capped at $10k
(if you have a 700+ credit score and want my team to sequence and unlock your 150k-250k 0% funding stack under an EIN, book a call using the link in my bio)
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Rev. Rul. 78-38 only covers charitable contributions by credit card, not business expenses or vehicles. andrewmitchel.com/charts/rr_78_3… Credit card charges are deductible when incurred under standard cash method rules, not via any unique glitch, and the IRS auditor anecdote has no corroboration. irs.gov/publications/p… fitsmallbusiness.com/tax-deduction-…

I’ll take the worst situation at a hotel over this any day.

Recently I’ve seen a lot of people complaining about being asked to clean an Airbnb when they’ve already paid a cleaning fee
As a host, I find this attitude quite worrying
My wife and I rent out the apartment in Germany. We charge a €145 cleaning fee, and we still expect guests to:
1. Strip the beds and start a wash, separating whites from colours
2. Wash, dry and put away all dishes
3. Sweep and mop the floors
4. Take out all rubbish, separating paper, cardboard, clear glass, coloured glass, plastics, metal, organic waste and residual waste
5. Take bottles with a deposit to the supermarket return machine.
6. Send photos showing the apartment is ready before the 8:30am checkout
These tasks must be completed before departure. If you have an early flight, allow time the evening before
The cleaning fee pays for professional cleaning. It does not pay for someone to pick up after you
Here in Europe, we teach children to leave a place as they found it
I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect the same from adults on holiday
My older brother weighs north of 350lbs. Been obese most of his life. Bullied to the point he dropped out of high school.
Younger brother is pushing 260lbs and very out of shape.
Both just over 6’ tall.
I’ve begged them to jump on reta just to get some of the weight off. You couldn’t pay them to change their ways.
For anyone whose lost 50-100lbs, what was the initial motivation to lose the weight? Is there anything I can tell these guys to light a fire under their ass?
I don’t think I would ever stay in an Airbnb again the rest of my life. They let that shit run out of control for years.
“Before you leave, you’ll need to mow the lawn and paint the trim on the patio”

Elite status at any hotel trumps Airbnb by a country mile. Not even close.
I forgot what it was like to workout at high altitude. Holy shit I’m gassed.
Work out at sea level, then go straight to 8,000 ft elevation and hit it with the same intensity.
Fuck. 😂
Money does wild things to people.
If you’re a reckless degenerate before you get money, trust me, you’ll still be a reckless degenerate when you have money.
Mid set doing some T-Bar rows, a black widow descends down from the ceiling an inch from my arm.
Did we panic? No, adrenaline went through the roof, PR was hit, new level of intensity achieved.
Now, every set I just think about that black widow and how much I've been training like a pussy this whole time.
This is extremely difficult to do, the deeper you go, the more your glutes kick in and help out. To target the quads, try to shorten the ROM. Once again, I am humbled. Fuck.
Fix this hack squat MISTAKE & grow BIGGER quads
You're going TOO DEEP.
- Quads grow from knee flexion, aka bending at the knee.
- As long as your knees are traveling forward, your depth comes from knee flexion and the tension stays on your quads.
- Once your knees stop traveling forward, any extra depth comes from hip flexion. That shifts the work off your quads and onto your glutes.
How to fix it:
- Feet LOW on the platform. Your knees can travel further forward, so you get more knee flexion and the depth stays on your quads.
- Only go as deep as your knees can travel forward. When your knees stop, that's your bottom.
- Pause at the bottom for a beat, the drive back up thinking "bring knees back"
You can see my knees pull BACK at 0:07 -> hip flexion taking over.
Bloodwork came in, looking good, feeling great.
Thanks @labs_vanguard for adding the extra tests in the men's basic. Love it.
I fucked up.
For the past 10 weeks, I’ve upped the volume on my calf work. Added about 4 sets of additional work per week spread across 2 sessions.
Stingy muscles.
Over this time, I should have been stretching way more. My calves got tight AF.
Now I’m developing a bit of Plantar’s Fasciitis in my left foot.
I’m sitting here with a heating pad, massage gun, and stretching like a mad man, not realizing how tight my calves are.
Holy shit people, stretch the calves!
I’m not having fun right now.💀
Don’t let them fool you, Upper/Lower can work just fine.
Is it the “best”, certainly not.
Consistency and intensity > most optimal split.
Post workout meal, scoop of whey and half a pound of ground beef with rice.
And there’s people wondering how to hit 150g of protein in a day.
#DBAP
Not many people remember this, but there were many years at Twitter where people would pay a substantial fee for their blue checkmark.
I had a crypto client who created their own token, and they paid someone at Twitter 50k USDC for their verification.
What an absolute racket that was 🤣
This is sick, if you’re ever in the SF area, this is a hidden gem.
The guy put a lot of effort finding these pieces. Very methodical.
