KXLL the MOUSE Challenge - Day 109
Can you guess today's theme?
✅Fundraising Plan
✅Marketing Plan
✅Content Plan
🟨Mind Map
In addition to doing nothing today, I "drew" a mind map of LFNull's marketing and BD plan on the back of an Amazon paper package.
The content will be insane - I'll be pumping out some weird memes, demos, contests, and some slick product video through the week.
And I will make a nice version of the mind map to put on my wall. 😉
More 3D modeling tonight! 💪
GA
Relaxing super hard today. Slept til noon, bike ride, nature. Piano, steel drum, journaling.
I'll send some texts, trying to communicate in batches instead of all the time. Pardon comms hiccups 🙏
Here's a photo of the lotus plants (what are they?) at Holmes Lake.
KXLL the MOUSE Challenge - Day 108
I can make anything in the universe, but 1st?
a scraper... 😌 ✨️
Seriously though, excited to print the HAWK! And board games, a sound visualizer, an air cannon, and a new drone type based on leaves.
Will do 3D modeling tonight 👍
KXLL the MOUSE Challenge - Day 107
Office transformed into a lab - see before and after. Also, a new social media plan was born. Third, we got through to the 2nd round of an accelerator today!
Getting ready for a free HAWK contest too. Tell your friends 🧡
I can't sleep... I keep thinking of things to 3D print, then remembered those pull tab "mechanical pop-up" books from when I was a kid...
Anyone else remember those?
Might be time to adapt some of those old paper tricks into 3D printed ones.
KXLL the MOUSE Challenge - Day 106
Still going at 2:38am, rearranging the office around the new @BambulabGlobal X2D printer - it's now sitting on the 30-year-old wooden desk I found on the street corner today.
Went to UNL for the $15k @KeyenceUSA scanner for one of the last HAWK scans I'll do for a long time (I'm happy to say.)
My confidence has returned since the HAWK performance tests. I know I still have to climb marketing mountain, but I'll do it with renewed vigor.
I revisited my business plan and media plan. I'm going to do some AI training, though will probably quit soon, just to focus on fund raising. (The most successful people don't work for money, they ask for it.)
Expect some absolutely zany media soon.
KXLL the MOUSE Challenge - Day 105
Demo today! Lackluster results, but HAWK still outperformed a standard mouse, even if insignificantly.
Buttons are in the wrong place, and the wires were tugged a bit too tight and shorted it out. Pissed me off, but...
The button upgrade will provide an additional performance boost.
100+ years ago, there was a historic art contest in France where the judges were arguing 🇫🇷 🔥
"Every art MUST be accepted," one judge demanded. Let's call him Pierre.
"But what do you mean, by 'every', and 'art'?!" Another replied. We'll call him Marcel.
They argued back-and-forth until Marcel gave in; they decided to let "every type of art" into the contest, but Marcel had a big surprise...
On the day of the contest, there was a "unique sculpture" waiting for judge Pierre. One of the Parisian artists had entered a signed, horizontal urinal, into the contest. We will call her Reese M.
Pierre was flabbergasted and demanded that the urinal be removed immediately, but Marcel stepped in, wagging his finger, to remind him of his own rule.
That's how abstract expressionism happened in the early 1900s, andthis is a true story with some fabricated details 😉
The point = what is art?
100 years ago we asked ourselves what art was and decided it could be anything.
I was taught that art is a language, and that still rings true to me today. But I only recently realized how important the eye of the beholder is, in imbuing art with meaning and soul.
The artist can mean one thing or try not to mean anything, but then a viewer comes along and finds some their own meaning. They will react - positively or negatively doesn't matter, and that "energy" goes into the artwork. That energy makes it art, imbues the soul and meaning.
If you make a painting, but never look at it, and never show it to anyone, does the painting really exist?
Art's meaning is created by our collective attention, our reactions are the ingredients of the art's soul. Good artwork demands reactions.
So, when you look around these days and you're trying to decide if something is art, or even worth your attention at all, or not...
Just pay attention to your reaction, or its absence.
Fitts' law testing apps are SOOOO boring - I get that science needs to "be clean" in order to reduce variables and get significant results, but... yeesh. Dry as a post-marathon Saltine.
Looks like I'll need to make a simple game?
Any suggestions?
WTF am I doing?
Help? LOL
Time to make a custom game.
Retro 8 bit.
Hawk themed?
KXLL the MOUSE Challenge - Day 104
We F&%&ing did it. Day 104. The mouse dead ☠️
Hard proof tomorrow. I need a new way to measure the performance because I hit my PB on AimLab (700 - max score) 3x in a row, causing me to laugh hysterically.
Officially shifting to fundraising next week - easy. Marketing this week, which is hard no matter what, but wow... HAWK performance will sell it.
I am high from the feeling of finally getting this done right, so going to play with my invention the rest of the evening. Work can wait.
Demo videos tomorrow with my free time (no more design rush! Woohoo! FINALLY!)
POWER GLOVE? 🪬
While designing the HAWK, I invented a new type of joystick/dpad - I call it the DD pad.
The next hardware project, after HAWK, is going to be a handheld version (to optimize the hand-held video game controller.)
It's almost time to bring back the Power Glove.
What is art?
Artists create things, but it is our reactions to those creations that fill them with "soul" and "meaning".
Art is art. It exists whether or not we like it - art is a quality that exists BECAUSE we like it or not.
Replying to @Death_n_Gaming
What is art & who decides what it is?
Gamers and weak artists don't. You don't.
Our reactions do.
Real art is art because it is instilled with "soul" through our reactions to it. Love or hate, real art doesn't care. It just is.
Duchamp tackled this 100+ years ago 👇
KXLL the MOUSE Challenge - Day 103
Monday was cursed.
My PMW3360 mouse sensor simply didn't want to work. Faulty wiring.
Then it still didn't work. More wiring.
Solution incoming and demo tomorrow, once the curse lifts.
GN early 😴

A girl just said she tried to get rejected 1000 times in 2025 and ended up being cast in plays, winning pageants, securing hella paid brand deals, and appearing in commercials. This is your sign to chase rejection to the point of "accidental" success. You'll be surprised.
KXLL the MOUSE Challenge - Day 102
I regret to inform everyone I will not be responsible for replacing your mind if it gets blown this week from HAWK demos.
Get ready🫠
Sunday is my upkeep day (plan & maintain), so will purchase a @BambulabGlobal X2D & eat some ice cream 🍨
Kxll the Mouse Challenge - Day 101
Applications started going out last night and continued today, along with some shopping.
