Firefighter Bates enjoyed representing Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service at the Museum of Making in Derby yesterday.
FF Bates talked students aged 11 -18 year's old, discussing her job role and hopefully inspiring some of them to consider a career as a FF. 🧑🏻🚒👩🏻🚒🚒😁

Found running from the fire this lizard was rescued by firefighters! This was his habitat - his home! Moorlands & countryside are home to all sorts of precious animals &flowers & yet we continue to see it destroyed by the irresponsible & careless use of portable BBQs #packapicnic
