Some Year 10s conducting a practical on conduction.
4 different tests to conduct and record, with a conclusion including any improvements they can make for next time. @LonghillSchool @AQA
With bubbles and social distancing, it is becoming increasingly difficult for practicals to take place out of our science labs.
Here are some snaps of Mr Tester’s Year 7s using iron filings to show a magnetic field of a bar magnet.

Happy Earth Day! 🌏🌍🌎 .. there are many great aspects to this amazing planet, take time today to virtually explore some different areas. If you can’t find anything, there is always lots of Sir David Attenborough’s footage that shows vast areas. @BBCEarth #StayHomeSaveLives

Flower dissections part of Mr Tester’s lessons this week. A more interactive way of learning always seems to work best, don’t you think 🤷🏼♂️🙄... @LonghillSchool @Tester_I_88 #science #Flowers

A mix of things happening in @Tester_I_88’s classes today. A few groups investigating chemical and physical changes and another group investigating voltage in fruits and vegetables. @LonghillSchool #Science #sciencetwitter @BrightonHoveCC @Rottingdean

Mr @Tester_I_88 ‘s Year 8 class we’re looking at the structure of the eye yesterday and got onto dissecting. Everyone (most!) seemed to enjoy the hands on, and the fact, although asked, that they didn’t have to dissect their own eyes! 🤣👁 @LonghillSchool
