Does any Tsy policy-maker or spokesman realise that expanded versions of PFI are now used round the world - but not here!
When will ANY UK political leader or media commentator tell people thetruth . The truth is that when it comesto our prosperity and security the Government now has very little control. Most of our natonal debate is locked in an echo chamber ,and based on dubious and dated statistics.
PFI,or PPP, now used widely round the world to expand infrastructure investment without adding to govt deficit or troubling bond markets. Seems to have been forgotten by UK

Yes,more about that new partnership please , about which the King spoke at Windsor. Partnership means more than just following along and playing the Trump game. And more than just doing what we are told by Washington.

I am NOT against Sizewell C. Lord Hunt. I am IN FAVOUR of 6 or 8 SMRS on the Sizewell site,which would be running by early 30s. I am AGAINST a giant white elephant ‘replica’ which will take a decade to build on a dodgy design, costing taxpayers a fortune.
Columnist says Conservatives 'have nothing to offer'. They don't understand this is only so when the alternative promise is higher incomes , bigger benefits, more prosperity, beer and skittles. When this does not transpire, and disorder grows, the appeal and power of Conservatism returns.

I would like to repost my speech to the Conservative Foreign and Commonweaelth Council a year ago,April 22nd, because it forecast exactly what would happen when Mercia went awol under zany leadership and how we should repond.
The trump team should re-read Richard Baldwin’s brilliant book ,’TheGreat Convergence’ , (2016). They have simply not understood the nature of the fourth great globalisation where the internationalisation of production processes has made most supply chains undisentangleble.
It is depressing to see still more Asian states pressing ahead with small reactors while the UK dithers. For example, Indonesia now going ahead 20 new technology reactors . The first one, a Thorium Molten Salt reactor, will be ready commercially by 2028!
