I’ve always loved this. It’s hard watching your child suffer knowing you can’t fix it and I’ll always wonder ‘what if’ he hadn’t got sick. BUT he’s still my absolute pride, joy, motivation and the reason for all I do. Who needs Italy!

Nathan spent weeks in hospital due to the complications of chicken pox and now lives with brain damage as a result. Not everyone agrees with vaccines but please don’t underestimate chickenpox. I’d do anything to undo the consequences my son lives with. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c860…

Three 1st’s for me this week… first ever GIC at West Herts, first time directing a GIC and first time doing the new style course. All of which leads to a rock and roll Saturday evening reading my ‘blue book’ I’m having a drink Wednesday night when it’s over!
