A beautiful day for public safety! βοΈ
Deputy Inspector Palaj took part in Staten Island Shomrimβs public safety day. It was a great way to display the collaboration between the NYPD and Shomrim on how many crimes are investigated and even prevented with our joint efforts! π€

Great work by the officers of @NYPD90Pct and the amazing volunteers of @WspuShomrim. Thank you for keeping our community safe
On Friday, officers of the @nypd90pct arrested a person for assaulting three Williamsburg residents. The incident is being investigated as a hate crime. Thank you to the NYPD for keeping the community safe, and to our Shomrim volunteers for their swift response and dedication

A few weeks ago, NYC Comptroller Mark Levine visited the new Shomrim HQ in Williamsburg to discuss the public safety priorities of the Jewish community. Comptroller Levine has been a longtime ally of the community, and we look forward to a productive partnership ahead.

Thank you @POTUS @realDonaldTrump and Pardon Attorney @EdMartinDOJ for your ongoing efforts to give people a second chance at life especially when "the system" goes overboard; especially against first time offenders.
Thank you: @POTUS! Joseph Schwartz is now free to rebuild his life and business with his family, who never stopped living and advocating for him. βοΈ

Condolences to the family, friends, and fellow NYPD officers mourning the tragic loss of Officer Didarul Islam, murdered while protecting New Yorkers from danger in the Blackstone Building. He put his life on the line and died a hero. His sacrifice will never be forgotten

I visited Chabad of #StatenIsland to see the vandalization of their banner calling for the release of hostages held by Hamas. I will always stand by our Jewish community. Thank you to @SISPShomrim & @NYPDnews for responding. We will continue to work together to keep everyone safe

When local community members & NYPD members join forces, the result always leads to a positive outcome.
Cops from Brooklyn along with Jewish community leaders coordinated a bicycle registration event to help combat & prevent bike theft in their neighborhood.
Kudos to @BPShomrim for coordinating a Bike Registration Event for the community. This event helps prevent theft and increases the successful recovery of lost bikes.

Please watch this & share if you can. My friend Ariel is in Tokyo & lost the ring her late father proposed to her mother with. He passed away just 3 months before her wedding & it means a lot to her. Sheβs hoping somehow, someway, someone can find it. tiktok.com/t/ZTREuGHe4/

While the storm was pummeling the city yesterday, our volunteers braved the storm to assist the community with pumping out flooded basements etc and clearing downed trees that were blocking pedestrian walkways/roads. #Dedication #HereToHelp #ItsWhatWeDo

This guy has been plaguing the Boro Park section of our district for months, breaking into houses every Friday night. He has a long criminal history. We thank the @NYPD66Pct & @BPShomrim for apprehending him, and we ask the @BrooklynDA to please take him off our streets for good.
BREAKING: A suspect wanted for breaking into dozens and dozens of apartments on Shabbosim over the past year, was arrested at 6:30PM Friday night after an extensive operation by @BPShomrim and the @NYPDnews.

Heartwarming to see the tremendous turnout throughout Orthodox Jewish neighborhoods in NY. A religious minority exercising its hard-earned voting rights. Beautiful! β at Borough Park, Brooklyn

For the 3rd time in a week, a city employee has been caught removing @leemzeldin campaign signs.
This time, a uniformed @NYCSanitation supervisor in a city owned vehicle, was seen removing a sign from a front lawn.
This misuse of city personnel is wrong and needs to stop.

It is outrageous and irresponsible for the @NYTimes to place the Orthodox Jewish community in real danger at a time of increasing blatant violent acts of hatred against our community on a weekly basis. hamodia.com/2022/09/09/orthoβ¦

This notorious thief - who has been stealing packages for months, stole a package from a porch on 59th Street. But he didnβt make it to far - our volunteers ultimately picked him up and notified @NYPD66Pct, resulting in his arrest. #FightingCrime #ItsWhatWeDo
