No. 14 Syracuse field hockey beat No. 16 California on Sunday afternoon in a shootout, 2-1. The Orange improved to 9-5 overall and 4-3 in the ACC. Syracuse volleyball, meanwhile, fell at home in five sets to Virginia Tech. The 'Cuse is 6-13 overall and 1-9 in the ACC.
Just a little update: The Browns are 5-2, not 4-2. Sorry, Cleveland!!!

Syracuse football sixth-year WR Umari Hatcher (@HatcherUmari), in the team's OT win at North Carolina on Saturday night, had four catches for 103 yards, along with a 76-yard TD reception.
