On Friday, the Board of Commissioners dedicated a new supportive housing center in their journey to reduce homelessness to functional zero. Over the last two years, construction on the $22 million Martin F. McKernan Jr. Supportive Housing Center has been ongoing near the county’s Lakeland complex to develop a 60-unit housing center that will be a place of compassion and service to help individuals get back on their feet. The multipurpose facility will be operated by the Volunteers of America Delaware Valley (VOADV) and is outfitted with all the necessary amenities to support anyone experiencing homelessness.
The 45,000 square-foot complex will dedicate 50 transitional units for people who need housing for up to two years as they get connected to health care benefits and other social services, which includes obtaining new licenses and other identification documents, as well as mental health support and job placement. The remaining ten units will be utilized on an emergency basis.

At no time was I implying anything other than removal through Constitutional means. Violence and hate have no home in our political and electoral process nor anywhere in our society. I want to be clear that I fully endorse Trump’s removal through legal methods.
I went on a Philadelphia radio show last Friday to explain my position and make my voice heard. Trump should be removed from office as a traitor as outlined in the US Constitution by impeachment or by the 25th Amendment. Period, full stop.
Through Trump’s actions and rhetoric, he has given Putin an international spotlight, an economic windfall to fund his war machine and has betrayed all of our western allies. Putin will die as one of the worst scoundrels of the millennium.
