So, Baroness Hunt, Stonewall did far more wrong than merely "trust the experts". It, and you personally, are deeply implicated in a medical scandal that has destroyed many vulnerable children's lives. You're not going to get away with rewriting history. Not this time 8/8

Self harm is a well understood coping mechanism for women managing deep feelings of self hatred. Becoming a transman and having breasts removed is a recent and now acceptable iteration of this tendency.

A lot of us were very willing to have a debate without heat, @stonewalluk, and the reason that never happened wasn't because gender critical feminists didn't want one. While we were trying to get you to listen to our concerns, your former CEO was telling a BBC boss that gay people not wanting to include the opposite sex in their dating pool was 'sexual racism'. While we were pointing out the homophobia inherent in gender ideology, Stonewall ambassador Alex Drummond (a bearded, heterosexual man who'd had no surgery and taken no cross-sex hormones but liked wearing skirts), was going into schools to talk to students about his 'lesbian' identity. @BluskyeAllison, who actually is a lesbian, was subject to unlawful discrimination at her place of work for tweeting: ‘Stonewall recently hired Morgan Page, a male bodied person who ran workshops with the sole aim of coaching heterosexual men who identify as lesbians on how they can coerce young lesbians into having sex with them. Page called [it] “overcoming the cotton ceiling”.’ When the UK Supreme Court upheld women's right to single sex spaces, you issued a statement expressing your unhappiness about the ruling. In her report on your unhappy influence at the University of Essex, you were found by barrister @akuareindorf to have misrepresented the law as it related to women's rights: '[Stonewall have] stated the law as Stonewall would prefer it to be, rather than the law as it is’. In 2018, you publicly advised schools to shred a research pack saying there were risks to puberty blockers, in spite of the fact that you aren't a medical charity and that there was already credible evidence that puberty blockers are neither irreversible nor harm-free. Meanwhile you produced your own educational packs, recommending a children's book, for ages 5-9, in which the parent 'is neither a man, nor a woman – they’re non-binary.' In July 2022, Stonewall sent out a tweet that read ‘Research suggests that children as young as two recognise their trans identity'. @thetimes has reported how you've sought to control the language used by NHS trusts and government on their social-media accounts. Organisations would get points from you for replacing commonly understood words with ideologically approved terms, eg, 'birthing parent' instead of 'mother'. thetimes.com/uk/society/arti… In short, you took a maximalist position on gender identity ideology, which you attempted to enforce by diktat. You refused to acknowledge that you'd hitched your wagon to a cause that, unlike civil rights, gay rights or women's rights, sought to strip rights from others. You sought to curtail everyone's right to freedom of speech and belief by controlling what it was permissible to think and say, through the management and political class. You have argued against women's and girl's rights to their own spaces, their sports and to assemble without men. Your former CEO tried to shame gay women/men into dating the opposite sex if the latter claimed to be female/male. Your mantra was 'no debate' because, like all totalitarians, you preferred slogans, bullying and infiltration of powerful institutions to talking to opponents. You appear to have had no concern for the lowly people your ideology was harming: gender confused kids, female rape victims, female prisoners, regular people hounded and investigated at their places of work for refusing to accept the new mandates on sex and gender issued from on high. Your 'activism' has been a disaster for those trans-identified people who really do just want to get on with their lives in peace. You have besmirched the name of an organisation many of us were once proud to donate to, the charity that was partly responsible for securing the legal right of gay people to marry, which a lot of us thought would never happen in our lifetimes. The milquetoast words quoted below do not erase a decade of gender activism that has been disastrous not only for individuals but for society as a whole. There was once a debate to be had, but until you acknowledge the direct harm you've caused, it is no more possible to debate you than to persuade a person in the throes of a drug-induced psychosis that they are not, in fact, the reincarnated Christ.

"A council failed to publicise a warning from the equalities watchdog that its policy of allowing males identifying as female to use a historic women’s bathing pond was likely to be “unlawful”, it has emerged. The City of London Corporation was also criticised for not making clear to the public that since 2019, when it introduced its transgender admissions policy, it had not considered the women’s and men’s ponds on Hampstead Heath — the 800-acre green space it manages in north London — to be single-sex. The developments have come to light days before the local authority is set to defend itself in the High Court against claims by the campaign group Sex Matters that its admissions policy breached equality laws." thetimes.com/article/hampste…

If he came to work in Blackface @UniofOxford, security would be called to march Matt Rattley off the premises and his contract would be terminated. And I don't think @LinkedIn would tolerate it either. But, mocking and degrading women is now a perfectly acceptable way for so-called professionals to conduct themselves in public. @UniofOxford What exactly is the difference between these two pictures?
If he came to work in a clown or dinosaur outfit I think the employer would see the immediate unprofessional absurdity of this performance. His workplace is not a stage for his sexual fantasy. This bring your whole self to work mantra is b****x.

Am FURIOUS about this
This is an important story. But perhaps the bigger story here is why it took so long for a mainstream publication - now two - to report on a male Oxford University lecturer wearing giant prosthetic breasts to work. An editor said to me on Friday: “I can’t believe this story hasn’t been covered in the mainstream press.” YES!!! I said. Behind the scenes, I’d been pushing hard to get a national newspaper to take it. In the end, I published two pieces on my [Un]Captured website - including three separate complaint letters I’d been sent - before the story gained national coverage. I wasn’t paid for that work. There was no guarantee I ever would be. The depressing thing is that journalists like me, @nickwallis and @jo_bartosch through @TERF_Times are increasingly having to build independent platforms to get these stories heard. This is one of the world’s leading universities, FFS. A lecturer wearing large prosthetic breasts at work. Women describing distress but feeling afraid to complain. Written complaints - and questions about how they were handled. Clearly matters of public interest. I’m glad the @Telegraph and @DailyMail have covered it. But I fear the BBC and Guardian will continue to ignore stories like this while giving plenty of space to promoting the ideas that make women afraid to speak up. What a sorry state of affairs for journalism. Thank you to everyone who has supported me through Buy Me a Coffee. It makes this reporting possible. As ever, my inbox is open: [email protected].

🚨 EXCLUSIVE: “At first, I thought it was a joke - fancy dress. But this is everyday attire. His prosthetic boobs are enormous, exaggerated and cartoonish.” I spoke to Oxford lecturers and a former student about their experiences of Matt Rattley - the bearded lecturer who wears prosthetic breasts to work and posts pictures on LinkedIn. They described their discomfort, concerns about sexual harassment and fear of making a formal complaint. I also obtained three separate written complaints to St Hilda’s, including one from a parent and a joint letter from three former students. One signatory, leading clinical psychologist Dr Lucy Johnstone, told The Mail on Sunday: “As a psychologist who has worked with women clients for many years, I do know that in all forms of harassment and abuse, you see denial by the perpetrator, silencing of the victims, and often collusion by institutions.” The piece also includes comment from @LoudBonnet - the barrister who has represented Sandie Peggie. My latest investigation with Nick Pyke: Read below 👇 _________ P.S. My inbox remains open: [email protected]. All messages treated in confidence.

In answer to your final question, no, it does not. After yesterday's forensic analysis & exposition of the bill's failings and inherent dangers, I for one will know that anyone who votes it through in its current form is either deeply stupid, deeply reckless or deeply wicked.

Listening to the Conversion Practices Committee today has reinforced my concern that the wellbeing of detransitioners is simply not being considered by the Government. It is deeply worrying to hear discussions that appear to overlook the significant impact this Bill could have on detransitioners, our ability to speak openly about our experiences, and the support we need to move forward with our lives. Our lived experiences matter. We must be given the opportunity to have our voices heard, particularly when legislation could directly affect our ability to access appropriate therapy, process our experiences, recover and rebuild our lives. A Bill intended to protect people must not come at the expense of silencing another group who are already too often overlooked. I am therefore calling on the Government to ensure that detransitioners are included in any discussions, consultations or working groups seeking lived experience. Our voices must be heard, our experiences must be acknowledged, and our wellbeing must be taken seriously. @DPUK26 @ABarrosCurtis @oliviabaileymp @DannyBeales @NazShahBfd

We are so lucky in the UK to have gay organisations like @AllianceLGB arguing against the state-enforced sterilisation of children (aka the Conversion Practices Bill). Other countries from Europe to Australia were not so lucky.
This afternoon our Vice Chair, Dermot Kehoe, gave evidence at the Joint Committee on the draft Conversion Practices bill. Parents should never feel afraid to tell their child “I don’t believe you’re born in the wrong body… but I do believe you’re my gay son and I support you in that”. The little crazy children are jangling the keys of the kingdom. The transgender movement has convinced unhappy children that they may be "born in the wrong body" or that they can exist as neither male nor female. Now it wants to give these children the ability to set the police on their parents and send them to prison.
For the transactivists who've decided I abused my son, here are the sorts of reasons he said he'd tell the police on me: no to fire-eater at b'day party/£200 football boots/drinking vinegar; requests to pick up towel/put plate in sink/get dressed. He was a kid, arrest me. More /1
