Coach Dave has a new logo! Been wanting to do it for a long while but never had the time or the head space.
The "V" is a speed trace, specifically... La Source to Eau Rouge at Spa. The Red block is the data viewport. The word mark now uses Blackbird from @fortfoundry instead of Termina.
The original was done in a rush, during covid, when the idea of Coach Dave was a "nice side hustle" between races.
That was a long time ago. Coach Dave is no longer a small business and it's been difficult to fit the logo into my various product endeavours. It was time to get a new look. Me and the rest of the design team needed more flexibility.
Everyone will have an opinion, but I'm really happy with the outcome and how it will be used on some huge projects we have been cooking in secret.
New Merch: Euro Plates
With the scheduled release next week, who doesn't want new merch? The "Euro Plates" special edition adds a tongue in cheek nudge to the automotive industry with a respectful hint towards the SimHub country we live in.
