Young people & people of color want desperately to vote for Trump’s Democratic opponent but won’t commit to someone funding the slaughter innocent Palestinians. To win, our Democratic nominee must support funding for healthcare, housing & education not Netanyahu’s genocide.

Kamala Harris likened Israel’s creation to the US civil rights movement during a 2017 speech to AIPAC She even claimed she donated to the JNF, Israel’s leading vehicle for land theft How soulless and sold out must you be to equate the Nakba with Selma?

Stop this myth. Joe Biden’s not a “decent” man. He’s had LEAD roles in America’s 3 greatest human right crimes last 50 yrs: 1—Funding Israeli genocide 2—Leading Dems to join Bush/Cheney on Iraq Invasion 3–Lead architect of New Jim Crow last 25 yrs. Joe used to speak VERY clear:
What a decent man. This fills me with sadness-I believe he could have continued to lead, but Joe Biden is more concerned with our country than he is with himself. I support @VP

Journalism is not a crime. I will continue to stand strong for press freedom in Russia and worldwide, and stand against all those who seek to attack the press or target journalists.

The first Palestinian person I ever met was my junior year in Germany. He was a medical student named Nimr living on the floor of my apartment building, and for weeks, he wouldn’t talk to me. At one point I asked him why he wouldn’t talk to me, and he said because I was American.

Does anyone know what's going on with UNC's Wilson Library? It's set to close for three years, cutting off access to special collections. It's a major, major archive for Southern history and the history of slavery.

Live from our watch party, we are thrilled to join a historic wave of organizing #UnionsForAll in higher ed, and so excited for Duke grad workers. Today, we’ve formed the first recognized grad student union at a private university in the South, and 1 of the largest unions in NC!

When Silicon Valley Bank crashed earlier this year, President Biden saved the bank and its financial investors within 72 hours. There was no political grandstanding over whether Section 13(3) of the Federal Reserve Act provided the authority to bail out venture capitalists.

It’s funny in a sad kind of way that we now have four nearly identical social media platforms but still no high speed trains from New York to Chicago or Boston to DC

We are living through sheer insanity where the complaint of a single, white parent upends the rights of thousands of others to read freely.
These are the pages of my inaugural poem that an objecting parent cited as "not educational and have indirectly hate messages". And now because of that one complaint, my poem is now banned for elementary school students at a school in @MiamiDadeCounty.

Are there any resources out there to make sure I'm pronouncing Indigenous names and nations properly? Specifically wondering about languages from New England and Long Island, probably all in the #Algonquin family.
