We have lots of blackberries this year so blackberry & apple jam and pie. We also juice the blackberries and sterilize it so that we have a supply for the rest of the year. Hopefully we will also have some plums left to make jam if Emma does not eat them all.

Took some chard, beetroot and a few herbs to Footprints Pantry yesterday. If anyone else has spare produce from their allotment I am sure that they would welcome it.
We do not have a lot from the allotment to take to food bank at the moment. However, someone forgot to cancel their veg box from Uncle Sid's Zero Waste Store so we took it to Footprints Pantry on Friday.
1
Homemade pasta with mushrooms, leeks and okara (soya pulp left after making soya milk) sauce. Served with sprouting brocolli.
1
Not much from the allotment for the pizza except for the tomatoes which we bottled last year and a bit of tarragon. The pie is apple and blackberry - we still have a lot left in the freezer.

While we were making apple crumble (from our stored apples) we also made a leek roast (leeks, sunflower seeds, bread crumbs, flavoured with rosemary, thyme), roast potatoes, parsnips, kale and gravy.

We are having leek and parsnip soup for lunch. We have a few spare, so we took them down to the local food bank.

In the summer, we processed blackcurrant and blackberry juice. It keeps for a while, and we have juice during the winter. It is good hot on a cold day.

Pie: leeks, sprouting broccoli, butternut squash with okara (soya milk pulp) With sprouts, roast potatoes and parsnip.

We still have a few tomatoes left in the Greenhouse.
1
Marrow stuffed with lentils, onion and some soya milk pulp. Flavoured with chilli, parsley and tarragon. I thought about putting them under the grill to brown a bit but did not bother. We make our own soya milk since we are fed up with dealing with all the f'ing Tetrapaks.
22
Sunflower seed loaf, kale with leek, roast parsnips and potatoes.

We are getting to the end of our tomatoes, so we are bottling them for use over winter. We acidify with a bit of citric acid rather than doing in a pressure cooker.
2
Kale, chillies (most went to the food bank), tomatoes, leeks, raspberries and basil. Pasta with tomatoes, onion and basil thickened with a few red lentils for lunch. Leek and lentil pie with kale, parsnip (we picked earlier), roast potatoes and gravy. Raspberry pie for dessert.

Near the end of the season but still getting grapes, raspberries and tomatoes.
Tomatoes (pizza for tonight and bottling, grapes, bean pods (we use the seeds as you would kidney beans), potatoes (from storage), our last large cucumber (still have smaller ones for pickling), mustard salad, chillies, raspberries (jam and cordial), basil (for pizza tonight)

Sowed a lot of mustard as a 'green manure' but we still have parsnips, brussels, sprouting broccoli, kale (nero and sutherland), and leeks. We also still have tomatoes, cucumber, grapes, raspberries elsewhere.
