Proud to join the @Missouri_NG in celebrating 200 years of Jefferson Barracks, the oldest operational military installation west of the Mississippi River. From serving as our nation’s first infantry school to supporting our military today, Jefferson Barracks has helped shape American history. What an incredible legacy of service and a proud piece of Missouri history!

Honored to address our nation’s newest soldiers at Fort Leonard Wood as they graduate from Basic Combat Training. These brave men and women answered the call to serve something greater than themselves, carrying forward a proud tradition of courage, sacrifice, and patriotism. Missouri is proud of each of you, and our nation is stronger because of your willingness to serve. God bless our troops and God bless America!

Glad to take part in the Defending the Homeland Crossroads Exchange and highlight the service, sacrifice, and continued leadership of Missouri’s veterans and military families. Our veterans strengthen communities across Missouri long after their military service ends, and their experience and leadership remain an important part of keeping our state and nation strong.

Missouri was built by people who work with their hands. On National Manufacturing Day, we celebrate the innovators, machinists, and builders who make 'Made in Missouri' a badge of honor. Let’s bring our supply chains home!

Great to join the Highway 36 Heritage Alliance in Macon to talk about the opportunities driving growth across northern Missouri. From tourism and historic attractions to agriculture, small businesses, and new investment, the Highway 36 corridor has a lot to offer. I am proud to support the communities working to bring more visitors, more jobs, and more economic opportunity to this part of our state.

Today we honor the American heroes who were prisoners of war and those who never came home. We remember their courage, their sacrifice, and the families who still carry the weight of their absence. Missouri will never forget them, and our nation must always remain committed to bringing every missing service member home.

I was proud to join hundreds of volunteers in St. Louis for the 9/11 Day of Service. Together, we packed over 400,000 meals for the @STLFoodbank to help local families in need. Turning loss into service shows what Missourians are all about. Thank you to everyone who showed up for their neighbors. Let’s keep honoring those we lost by looking out for each other.

Twenty-five years ago, our nation was attacked and nearly 3,000 innocent lives were taken on September 11, 2001. Today, we remember the victims, honor the first responders who ran toward danger, and stand with the families who still carry that loss. We will never forget their sacrifice, and we will never forget the strength and unity America showed in the days that followed.
