The market is recognizing @AscendFi, which was announced last month and continues to be a first mover and leader for others to follow. Permissioned and permissionless tokens will coexist and have different roles. ERC-3643 is the largest RWA standard in the world for a reason, and its diverse community (@ERC3643Org + @trex_network) has tried many different approaches to bridging into DeFi, including simple wrapper approaches, whose limitations are well understood. We know what needs to be built, and that is why we've been actively building with the best teams in DeFi (@chainlink + @OpenZeppelin + et al) to introduce a new DeFi Lego, Permissioned Vaults, that are robust, dynamic, data-driven, private, regulatory-compliant, and, most importantly, accessible to DeFi users, lenders, and liquidators alike. ERC-3643 is uniquely the only ERC standard recognized by regulators worldwide. Our team of regulatory, banking, legal, and technical experts (@PSGDigitalLLc) is highly experienced in creating standards that pass final Ethereum approval and gain global traction. We are bringing this experience to our Permissioned Vault standard, which approaches the solution from the ground up and will, of course, be an open standard and an EIP (@ethereum + @ProtocolGuild + @EntEthAlliance), as Ascend announced last month. The direction from the market is now clear: the future of RWAs onchain is in DeFi. This is a win for everyone, and Ascend will continue to lead the way and benefit from this validation.
