For those of us who drive thirty year old cars with no cup holders, a breakthrough today - a golf shoe on the passenger seat. The spikes stop the shoe drifting around on the upholstery and the ankle end is perfect for a coffee cup. The ones from Costa fit reassuringly snugly.

One last round to finish off my 2026 season!
Another incredibly busy year behind the camera, and with 2027 already shaping up to be even better, I really can’t complain.
A massive thank you to everyone who booked me this year, trusted me to capture their golf trips and supported my little business along the way.
I’ve met some cracking people, visited some incredible courses and made plenty of memories along the way.
Feeling very fortunate to call this my job.

A chap on the wireless this morning was off to a gig tonight. A Meatloaf tribute act in Blackpool. The fellow gigging played under the name Maltloaf.
Some tribute acts have brilliant names.
We sorted the pantry today. The lovely lady was in charge of sorting the shelves (I'm in charge of shopping and cooking). Delighted to say we had ten jars of Marmite and four peanut butters. Andy Burnham would be thrilled to hear of our endeavours to be resilient.
Decorating the kitchen. Overdue. One joy was replacing the ceiling speakers. You don't notice how revolting something is for yonks, then it catches your eye and you are drawn to it all the time.
