Today, we inducted Bishop James Robert Alan Culp as the 20th member of the Lucas County Wall of Friends, which recognizes individuals who have distinguished themselves in the community and have close ties to Lucas County.

As part of #BlackHistoryMonth2025, we will be honoring African Americans that have made extraordinary contributions to Lucas County. Today, we honor former teacher and basketball coach Ben Williams for his decades of service to our community.
Today, we honored members of Lucas County JFS for earning prestigious statewide awards in 2024.
Our Division of Child Support earned the 2024 Most Improved Paternity Award from Ohio JFS and our childcare unit won Best Application Timeliness from the Ohio Children & Youth.
