“With a beauty all his own Reigns winter keen and hoary; Sweet the springtide’s vivid smile, Sweet the summer’s glory; But autumn’s bounteous hand, In the cloudless weather, Brings flower, fruit, and harvest home To the world together.” – from ‘Autumn Hedges’ by S. K. Phillips.

We are very pleased to have these Finger Spelling Cards to distribute at events we go to. From experience we know people find these clear and of a size that can easily be put in a bag to use when out and about. @SafePlaceShrops @annhowells182 @Rubygem4 @DeafBooks

In old German belief, lily of the valley were called Maiglöckchen, “little May bells”, and sacred to Ostara, goddess of dawn and spring. Their white flowers symbolised purity, their green leaves hope. They came to embody new beginnings and earth’s renewal after winter. #folklore

Spring is in the air 🍀🌷 Take a walk through Mr. McGregor’s garden, where nature feels magical and real. Inspired by natural landscapes, Beatrix Potter’s illustrations combine romance and fantasy in lifelike settings.
