I want a selfish immigration system, that puts the needs of the British people above ALL else - do what benefits Britain, everything else is entirely secondary. Accept the very best and brightest, who will significantly contribute and properly integrate. But say NO to millions of low-skilled migrants who will take far more than they give, often completely failing to integrate. This is what any self-respecting country does - why can't we? Selfishness should be the overriding principle behind it all. We can't solve the world's problems, nor should we try. Every single part of our immigration policy should be ultimately driven by what benefits the British people. Our approach to immigration shouldn't be caring, diverse, inclusive or whatever other nonsense - it should be selfish, and we should make no apologies for that.
