This is great
Reflecting on the #BallonDor last night, what a strange evening it was.
A John Nellis stunt that fell flat on its face, a major website gaffe, rows in the stands, conspiracy theories, disgruntled players and execs, and fights outside.

Happy (and somewhat surprised) to make my Turkish television debut, previewing Aston Villa's clash with Fenerbahce.
🟡🔵 "Fenerbahçe'nin iyimser olmak için birçok nedeni var."
🏴 Daily Mail muhabiri Luke Power (@LukePower_5), Aston Villa-Fenerbahçe maçı öncesinde HT Spor'a değerlendirmelerde bulundu!
🔹 "Aston Villa bu maçın favorisi."
🔹 "Aston Villa, dikkatsizlik nedeniyle çok gol yiyor. Henüz doğru stoper ikilisini bulamadılar."
🔹 "Aston Villa geçen sezona da böyle başlamıştı. Gelişim göstereceklerini düşünüyorum."
🔹 "Aston Villa sezona kötü başladı. Yaz transfer döneminde birçok oyuncusunu kaybetti. Martinez, Watkins, Morgan Rogers ve Ezri Konsa takımdan ayrıldı."

I was honoured to interview Lakyle Samuel, Jlloyd's son, at Exeter City last week.
He spoke so maturely of his much-loved father, who died in a car crash in 2018, and the unfortunate web of conspiracy which surrounded the tragedy.
On loan from Man City, he's very talented. 1/2
'I just hope he's proud. I've given a lot to get where I am. I just try and block it out (the conspiracies).
'I wish he was still around.'

Always liked Paul Heckingbottom and wish him the best for the future, though it didn't work out at Preston.
I like this line on Milutin Osmajic from our chat last year: 'It's not part of your tactics to send someone out to bite someone.' Good advice, really.
