Throwing with your starter, down 25, with 5 seconds left. Risk Another injury for what? Ego. Great stats v teams that can’t compete. Throw up by 35 @ Snow Hill. Throw here v 3rd string kids & get your stats … just no substance. The ego of this coach is an embarrassment & it’s why Decatur got blown out tonight. He’s not a leader, he’s a poser. So many kids got banged up tonight. Get the starters out, get other guys experience, don’t worry about the stats, worry about the kids & get in the film room. Great to see Jai Jackson shine. Obviously there was plenty to like from Easton. “Easton will never beat me” -Russel Croteau

College coaches are going to want to be in Berlin MD this Thursday night for Decatur v Easton. Absolutely loaded … QBs - (4 big time college prospects) 2027 @BradyWalls5 2029 @ChaseMagnelliQB 2029 @Nickocc12 (playing DE/WR on Thursday) 2029 @RonanOrth13 WRs: 3 legitimate 4.4 guys here @ArcherJaxon @JDThompson_ @JazirDickerson2 (RB/Ath) @ParkerHarr51113 (6’4) @Jai_Jackson4 @BrianPotte2703 @EthanCronin09 RBs: @KyleMumfor26451 @JCopper22 (‘28) @NehemiahDale09 (‘28) Athlete: @grason5x (‘29) certain D1 player OL: @Mattstanley54 (‘28) 400lb bench & 600lb squat. Not much competition for eyes on Thursday night. If you can’t get there then the stream is right here: youtube.com/live/B5tkRIOYF3U…

There will be a ton of eyes on the game tonight: I promise you, anything stupid you do: -Selfish penalties -Slamming your helmet -Bad body language on the sideline Will lose you an offer from a school you didn't even know was interested in you. If Easton isn't great, this game means nothing for Decatur. If Decatur isn't great, this game means nothing for Easton. Its a complementary relationship, not an adversarial one. The kids who work hard in neighboring communities are the people who ultimately give you the opportunity to prove yourself. Play football, worry about your team, respect the other team, and let's show everyone how good Bayside football really is. No matter what happens tonight, I fully expect to see both teams in Annapolis in early December.

The credit is what matters to most coaches, I’ve seen it repeatedly. There are coaches who yell at their kids for tagging people who actually helped them. There are coaches who demand credit for things they didn’t do. There are coach who tell kids they won’t share their posts unless the credit is given solely to themselves. I could name some of these people. There are coaches who will take a screenshot of a kids commitment post, edit it, & then share it. Plenty of coaches are all about their own ego. Coaches who talk about God & kicking ass, but have zero humility & even less ability to kick anyone’s ass.
