Probably going to unfollow about 600 people and forget about X for a while... This is a long time coming, probably way overdue. Today with my account being restricted... Final straw. My account is already being actively sabotaged, as of the last two (2) months, and it's just not worth gambling the time on anymore. This is after long consideration and for the interest of our mission beyond the year 2026. We need a reset. It's hard to tell who want's a ride and who is trying to ride. Tried to mitigate what I believed to be the issue this week and I literally just can't win. Sad that all this work will essentially go wasted but I know the true mission was to help people, and I think we did a pretty good job in the short 12 months active here on X. We made no money here ever, never sold anything, never asked for donations or for you to buy a waffle ticket or click our affiliate links. We spent about 12k helping, just trying to give people something to feel good for the day, anything, even if it was just a couple pieces of Luxury Cardboard. I could use that money right now but honestly the happiness I feel knowing I was able to make hundreds, if not thousands, of people happy, and really make a positive impact on people more broadly, helps me as much as it helped all of you, and as much as that money could help anyone. The real thing is you guys have really made me happy. Those that always posted comments on the YT videos, the people who constantly give me a good laugh in the morning or late night here when I probably shouldn't be on my phone. The people who ask for MY ADVICE in DMs or just listen to me on the TL and are always so affirmative when my advice works, love you guys. Being a professional since I was 21 - I have spent 12 hours a day for the last 10+ years working and addressing obligations that help thousands of people, and thankfully, I make a wage doing it. Part of me has always yearned for something casual like this, something because someone cared, not because they were trying to secure a sale, or get a contract approved, or because there was money involved... Unfortunately, this place doesnt feel like that to me anymore. Monetization isn't a end goal to show accomplishment, it's a centralized objective. As some of you know - I was a lurker for years, and was a bit of a Sposter for a while even lol - I just like it here and the monetization part was always like a little patch, an accomplishment, a pin of achievement, so we could simply say "woohoo we did it" and thats just not something I even care about anymore in this environment lol The last year has been awesome and hopefully I can figure out everything and come back with some new energy and less stock in this. I need to feel something that feels like leisure, something I'm not doing to make other people feel something, something that's really for me, and the people who actually care about me. I really love you guys and I hope this is a short goodbye - Please get some good hits for me bro and just listen to me on the podcast, cause I will never stop talking about Pokémon and Luxury Cardboard 🫶 🫡
