It's interesting seeing other people's perspectives because I thought the book ending was an insult to her character and I don't blame Jodie Foster for walking away from the role. Just utterly unhinged and weird.
If you don’t know that in the books, Hannibal Lecter and Clarice Starling eat Paul Krendler and then run off together, you’re missing key knowledge from the series. The movie Hannibal was really shit compared to the book, but Julianne Moore did a great portrayal of Clarice.

This quote is wild.
Ridley Scott says ‘ALIEN: ROMULUS’ was “ok.” “I think [the franchise] needs some help. So, I’ve gone back in.” (Via: @allocine)

This doesn't sound like either studio is interested in making a good film for the fans, but just trying to beat the other to a release for the sake of it.

If this is true, give me the Warner Bros version. I don't need a shot-by-shot remake. The original is already perfect!
Warner Bros & Paramount are in a heated race on which ‘NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET’ remake will be deeper in development before the merger closes. • Warner Bros' film has Lee Cronin (‘Evil Dead Rise’) in talks to direct • Paramount's film will be a shot-by-shot remake with the blessing of Wes Craven's estate (Source: puck.news/newsletter_content…)

A movie about Evil Dead has something evil in it. Shocking!
The only real emotional negative for me in EVIL DEAD BURN - and it isn't really a negative in terms of horror - is Thya's murder in the car after her boyfriend's father is possessed. It's extremely violent, but it feels genuinely hateful. Like he's killing her out of pure spite. I don't want to say misogynistic, because it has nothing to do with gendered violence, but the way it's choreographed and acted feels uncomfortably personal. It made me feel genuinely uneasy both in the cinema and rewatching it at home. Usually, the kills in this franchise are awesome horror movie deaths, but something about the way this one was shot and acted just felt off. Does anybody else get what I'm saying? For context:

Low key bored of any Scream-related drama at this point.
Neve Campbell has unfollowed Kevin Williamson and the official account of Scream on Instagram. What does it mean? Last time Neve unfollowed Scream acc, it was when she didn’t return for the 6th instalment. [Via: @faccu ] #Scream8

Genuinely don't think Eastenders is doing the right thing by axing Zoe. The character hasn't been given a chance. What a shame.

What is your favourite film with a rotten rating on Rotten Tomatoes (below 60%)?

Wonderful also in Twin Peaks and his brief appearance in The X Files. Fantastic to have him in three of my favourite shows. An actor very much missed.

Okay, @AmazonFrance definitely takes 1st prize in worst customer service I've ever experienced. My gosh. Serves me right for ordering from overseas!

Feel like the staff at @British_Airways Austin, Texas should wait until customers are out of earshot before they start bitching about them. Incredibly rude and disorganised group of people behind the desk.

Plane landed 45 minutes ago and still haven't managed to disembark due to a shortage of buses. Absolutely woeful experience. @British_Airways

Nope. No. Sorry. Gonna have to push back on this. We were ever mindful of creating a show that would have broad appeal.
EXCLUSIVE: The new "Stargate" TV series has been axed at Amazon. The show was first announced with a series order in November 2025 and hailed from showrunner Martin Gero, who was a writer on "Stargate SG-1" and "Stargate: Atlantis." Sources say Amazon execs were concerned that Gero's take on the series would not have broad appeal beyond the franchise's already dedicated fanbase. wp.me/pc8uak-1lHl5z

This.
I think Melissa Barrera is a good person with good intentions who got caught in a bad situation. She's very clearly hurting. It's wrong to attack her. It's wrong to attack people who did participate in Scream 7. We're all just doing our best to navigate a morally complex world.

She's entitled to her opinion and entitled to be bitter after how she was treated, let's be fair. Anyone in her shoes would be pissed off. She talks about way more than Scream in this interview too. She was asked about Scream and she answered.
Melissa Barrera claims Paramount "lied about the numbers" for "Scream 7" and says "I don’t think it made that much money." She believes the actors who appeared in "Scream 7" after she was fired crossed a picket line: "They have to live with that. The only way they were able to make that movie after what happened was to nostalgia-bait as much as possible." wp.me/pc8uak-1lHe8S

Once again V is absolutely engrossed at a Hathor episode of Stargate SG1. Every time @SuanneBraun is on screen he's utterly transfixed. Think he's succumbed to the pink mist! 😻

Is it just me or is this weird and disgusting?
Timothée Chalamet says Matthew McConaughey left a “huge turd” in his trailer toilet on his final day of ‘Interstellar’ filming: “In my trailer, I went to the bathroom and there was a huge turd in my toilet. I felt so disrespected. Like, ‘I know I’m not the star of this movie, but who’s coming in here?’ […] I went up to [Christopher] Nolan, and he pointed to Matthew, and Matthew had this devilish grin on his face. I said, ‘Why’d you do that?’ [He] said, ‘In Texas, it’s a coming of age, baby.’” 🔗: youtu.be/rQsTU1xSca8?si=Exq0…
