So, if someone reports having cash over 10k in their possession and can’t or won’t explain where they got it or why they have it, citing the 5th Amendment, then what? You just said it isn’t a crime to have it.
This is a blatant 4th Amendment violation.
It's not a crime to carry over $10K, we just want to know about it. CBP officers in Texas seized over $70K of unreported U.S. currency. A driver was referred for secondary inspection, during which officers and a K9 unit found the money concealed in the vehicle.

A big argument for the federal government in defending the NFA has been that registration is no big deal, a modest burden at most on the Second Amendment.
While in my view even a limited delay violates the Second Amendment and is not supported by historical tradition (nor is registration), it is true that the ATF speeding up processing so much in recent years, plus also the upcoming elimination of the $200 tax, has mitigated concerns a bit.
But all of that mitigation goes out the window if processing simply ceases anytime the government shuts down. And it's not as if shutdowns are all that uncommon.
Remember, the federal government has recently conceded that things like suppressors do enjoy some degree of Second Amendment protection, they just think the NFA doesn't infringe on that right. But if they are effectively banning the sale of suppressors for the time being, that's a pretty huge problem for that argument.
It is wild how people will jump on a bandwagon without any further critical thought, just because a primate from their own tribe is making noise about something.
It took me years of fighting God because of pastoral and doctrinal hubris before I “got it”.
It took deconstruction, a new church, and a fresh start to “get it”

While the harvest is ripe, for whatever reason, NOW is the time to intentionally invite people to attend your weekly worship service with you. It would be weird to pray for a revival in the hearts of men, or a great awakening of spiritual sobriety and need for Jesus, and not realize the Bible specifically tells all followers of Jesus: go and make disciples. We are who God intends to use for Kingdom growth. In this era of boldness, don’t be ashamed to invite people to church.
